Home health aide training in Orlando

Become a Home Health Aide in 6 Weeks

Our accelerated timeline takes you from classroom to caring for real patients fast. You will master personal care, vital signs, elderly care, and home safety in structured, hands-on lab sessions, all inside one hybrid program built on real hands-on practice. Deciding between paths? See how a home health aide compares to a CNA.

How the Hybrid Program Works

Our Home Health Aide program is hybrid: the flexibility of learning online plus the hands-on training of in-person labs. You work through the coursework online and train hands-on at our Orlando campus, with lab sessions where you practice real home-care skills through real-life simulations. Schedules stay flexible; choose the 6-week weekday track or the 13-week Saturday track.

Live Online (Zoom)

Join certified instructors in real time from home for lectures and guided learning, typically a couple of days each week, always at your same class schedule time.

Hands-On In Person

Practice the hands-on skills employers look for - safe transfers, personal care, vital signs, and infection control at home - in person on campus in Orlando, before you ever step into a patient's home.

Self-Paced Online

Work through online coursework on your own schedule, generally about one day a week, so the program flexes around your life.

Schedules stay flexible and may change. The day-split above is typical, not guaranteed.

What You'll Learn as a Home Health Aide

You'll gain the exact skills employers look for: compassionate personal care, accurate vital signs, safe body mechanics, and clear documentation. Built around real-world scenarios, the curriculum mirrors the complete home health aide job description: what aides do every day in patients' homes across Orlando.

A Certificate Employers Recognize Across Florida

Florida does not require a certification exam for home health aides. What employers require is proof of real training: Orlando job postings ask for a 75-hour HHA certificate by name. You graduate with a 170-hour certificate of completion from a state-licensed school, more than double that bar, and it moves with you between agencies, with no employment lock-ins or repayment clauses like free agency training.
