Become a Medical Assistant in 12 Weeks
Our accelerated timeline takes you from classroom to clinic fast. You'll learn EKGs, phlebotomy, patient reception, and administrative procedures as part of what do you learn as a medical assistant, all in one structured, immersive hybrid program.
How the Hybrid Program Works
Our Medical Assistant program is hybrid: the flexibility of learning online plus the hands-on training of in-person labs. You join live Zoom classes, train in person at our Orlando campus, and work through self-paced coursework on your own time. A typical week blends about 2 days of live online classes, 2 days of in-person training, and 1 self-paced day, though schedules may vary. Choose the weekday or the Saturday track. On the Saturday track, the same split applies with alternating Saturdays: one Saturday you join class live on Zoom, the next you train in person on campus.
Live Online (Zoom)
Join certified instructors in real time from home for lectures and guided learning, typically a couple of days each week, always at your same class schedule time.
Hands-On In Person
Practice the hands-on skills employers test for - injections, phlebotomy (blood draws), EKGs, and vital signs - in person on campus in Orlando, with the equipment and scenarios you'll use on the job.
Self-Paced Online
Work through online coursework on your own schedule, generally about one day a week, so the program flexes around your life.

Requirements to Enroll in Our Medical Assistant Program
Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Age: You must be at least 18 years old.
Prerequisites: Valid Photo ID, Social Security number, and deposit at the moment of enrollment.
National CCMA Certification, Recognized Nationwide
After graduation, you can take the National CCMA Certification exam at our approved facility, recognized by the National Healthcareer Association. As our medical assistant certification cost guide explains, tuition covers your first attempt; retakes are not included.
